Stop eating the first time you burp. If you pay close attention, you’ll notice that you will burp when eating. When you do it the very first time, it’s your stomach signaling that it is 1/3 full of food, 1/3 full of air, and 1/3 full of water. Eating past this point is moving into overeating, which could lead inefficient digestion.
