God convicts you of sin just like any father or mother does not watch their child do wrong and say nothing. You can’t say you care about your child if you watch them sin and say nothing. Mind you: conviction is very different from condemnation. The Holy Spirits conviction is done out of love. It’s out of mercy. And let’s try not to focus on such things. God was hardly the main point of the article. The main point was the enemy who seeks to kill, steal, and destroy.
