Being Spiritual Doesn’t Mean These 3 Things

Just because spirituality allows you to do whatever you want doesn't mean you should

1. Taking a Back Seat to God

It’s your soul that pays for everything you do in the physical world, you know?

When I first had my awakening, I woke up to the vastness of the universe but I was still trying to find the truth about God and if he was real or just mythology. Honestly, I was a bit uncomfortable saying God’s name because I didn’t want to be associated with any religion. I used the term universe or source to describe anything bigger than myself and for a while, that worked while I figured out exactly what I believed in.

But the problem with this is that saying universe could literally mean anything. When you’re using a term so broad about divinity, you can be easily led to believe anything. You could be led to sin if you don’t know who God is. Instead of doing what God’s word says, you could be doing things that are of the universe.

You can’t believe in everything and believe in nothing.

When you keep saying universe instead of saying what you really want to say; instead of drawing close to Spirit, you separate…
